India Smith
Founder And Executive Director
India Smith founded IDYC Hub with a deep commitment to serving disadvantaged and vulnerable youth in the community. With firsthand experience recognizing the gaps in education related to health, wellness, finances, and life skills, she is driven to create meaningful change.
Her mission is to empower young people with the tools and knowledge they need to reach their full potential, while addressing rising challenges such as youth violence and mental health struggles.
We envision Detroit’s youth becoming tomorrow’s leaders and leading the generations to come.
Asia Smith
Co-Chair
Asia Smith serves as the Co-Chair of IDYC Hub, where she plays a key leadership role in supporting the overall vision and direction of the organization. She works closely with the Founder & Executive Director to help guide strategic planning, program development, and community engagement initiatives.
Asia is dedicated to strengthening the organization’s impact by ensuring that programs remain focused on empowering youth and supporting families in need.
Her leadership helps bridge communication between teams and keeps projects aligned with the mission of education, wellness, and life skills development. Through her commitment and support, she contributes to building a stronger, more connected community.
Finance And Administration
Chelan Burks-Andrews
Treasurer
Chelan Burks-Andrews manages the financial records and ensures accurate tracking of all funds within IDYC Hub. She is responsible for maintaining transparency in financial transactions and supporting proper allocation of resources to community programs.Â
Chelan works closely with the leadership team to ensure that budgets are followed and funds are used effectively to support youth development and outreach efforts.Â
Her commitment to accuracy and accountability helps build trust within the organization and the community. Through her strong organizational skills, she plays an essential role in keeping the financial operations of IDYC Hub stable and well-managed.
Jazmine Rice
Finance Director
Jazmine Rice oversees the financial planning, reporting, and budgeting functions of IDYC Hub. She plays a vital role in ensuring the organization maintains strong financial stability and accountability. Jazmine is responsible for tracking resources, preparing financial reports, and supporting strategic decisions that help sustain and grow community programs.Â
Her focus is on transparency and responsible financial management so that every dollar directly supports youth and family initiatives. Mack Reese
Secretary
Mack Reese serves as the Secretary of IDYC Hub, where he plays a key role in maintaining accurate organizational records, meeting documentation, and internal communication. He ensures that all administrative processes run smoothly and that important information is properly organized and accessible to the team.Â
Mack is committed to supporting transparency, structure, and efficiency within the organization. Sean Wynn
Social Media Director
Sean Wynn leads the social media and digital communication efforts for IDYC Hub. He is responsible for managing online platforms, creating engaging content, and increasing awareness of the organization’s mission within the community.Â
Sean focuses on building a strong digital presence that highlights programs, events, and youth initiatives in a meaningful and impactful way. Through consistent storytelling and outreach, he helps connect the organization with families, supporters, and partners.
 His work plays an important role in expanding visibility and ensuring the community stays informed and engaged with all activities and opportunities offered by IDYC Hub.
Krystal Reese
Advertising, Marketing & Graphic Design Director
Krystal Reese is responsible for leading the branding, marketing, and visual design efforts of IDYC Hub. She creates impactful graphics, promotional materials, and marketing strategies that effectively communicate the organization’s mission and programs.Â
Krystal focuses on developing a strong and consistent brand identity that resonates with the community and attracts engagement and support.Â

Health & Wellness Director
Nyja Smith leads health and wellness initiatives at IDYC Hub with a strong focus on improving the overall well-being of youth and families in the community. She is dedicated to creating programs that promote physical health, mental wellness, and healthy lifestyle habits.Â
Nyja works to educate participants on the importance of self-care, emotional balance, and preventive health practices. Through workshops, community sessions, and outreach programs, she helps build awareness around critical health topics affecting young people today.Â
